The ELENOS ELT is a transmitter for FM Broadcast links
between 160MHz and 2.5GHz (in a 20MHz band segment). The transmitter is wideband
(so no calibration is required) and frequency can be set with 10 kHz steps. The
microprocessor control allows changes to the transmitting frequency in a few
seconds without need of recalibrating the deviation which remains constantly on
the chosen value.

An automatic power control
system (APC) grants output power stability on the entire frequency range (the
output power is 6 W). Simple and clear menus on a LCD graphic display (240x60
pixels) allow to control all the main functions of the transmitter and to
precisely measure some parameters, such as total frequency deviation, MPX , RDS
and SCA subcarriers deviation, direct and reflected RF power, critical stages
temperatures, etc.

The ELT 200 is provided with a comprehensive fault
protection (temperatures, VSWR, etc.) to ensure continued operation in every RF
load condition and in harsh environmental conditions without damage.

The unit is also provided with battery backup to
ensure continued operation in the event of mains failure. Alarm tally outputs
are also provided for remote control and signaling.
