Quali sono le emittenti più seguite per fascia d’età
Saranno disponibili a giorni i dati Audiradio del sesto e ultimo bimestre 2009. A breve, dunque, sarà possibile analizzare l’intera annata, nonché i risultati del secondo semestre.
In attesa della pubblicazione, abbiamo analizzato, basandoci sui risultati disponibili nei volumi del primo semestre, l’ascolto nel giorno medio ieri delle emittente più seguite a seconda della fascia d’età.
I neo-maggiorenni preferiscono RDS e Radio 105; Deejay e RTL 102.5 restano i principali punti di riferimento dei giovani adulti; Radio Rai e Radio Italia rientrano infine nelle preferenze degli over 45.

New Elenos transmitters will have LifExtender system : a system (hardware and software) that allows a safe functioning of the transmitter in extremely heavy environmental conditions, over the standards. Aerielle unleashes the i2i Stream

The new wireless digital device is intended “to elevate the experience of listening to audio”, reports David Davies. Developed by California-based Aerielle Inc, the i2i Stream wireless digital device is said to be the first to allow users to broadcast audio from media sources – for example, iPods, musical instruments and gaming devices – to earphones/headphones and speakers of their choice.
The i2i Stream can send and receive music and other sound files within a 30ft-plus radius using fitted transmitters on a 2.4GHz frequency. A total of seven different frequences are available, colour-coded for ease of use when broadcasting audio. Fully charged, the i2i Stream provides seven hours of continuous use.

U.S. Radio Revenue for 2008: $16.7 Billion, down 8.5%

Managers might be forgiven for leaping at the smallest good news, but the phrase “slight recovery” jumps out of the latest revenue forecast for the U.S. commercial radio business.
It’s from BIA Advisory Services, which anticipates a “slight positive trajectory beginning in 2011.”

More immediately, the research company found that small and mid-size markets continue to perform better than larger ones and that “income from digital sources is quickly proving itself to be a part of radio’s future.”
