(English) Transmitter industry veteran John Bisset joins Elenos USA

Elenos USA è lieta di annunciare l’assunzione di John Bisset. Elenos, grazie alla considerevole esperienza di Bisset, punterà ad espandersi nel mercato nordamericano.

Bisset ha ricoperto svariate posizioni in aziende di broadcast quali Harris, BE e Nautel. E’ ben conosciuto nell’ambiente per la sua colonna “Workbench”, stampata regolarmente su Radio World. E’ un membro attivo e certificato della Society of Broadcast Engineers.

Quando gli abbiamo chiesto cosa pensa della sua nuova posizione, Bisset ha risposto: “Come ingegnere, ho sempre cercato modi per risparmiare soldi e spazio, massimizzando l’affidabilità. Quando di recente ho avuto la possibilità di visitare la sede Elenos in Italia, sono rimasto letteralmente a bocca aperta. I trasmettitori Elenos sono progettati interamente con il focus dell’efficienza energetica e dell’abbattimento dei costi. Sono, inoltre, incredibilmente piccoli di dimensione. Sono molto contento di poter aiutare Elenos a penetrare il mercato nordamericano.”

Bisset era altrettanto entusiasta dei suoi nuovi colleghi: “Mi da una carica di energia il potermi unire ad un gruppo tanto innovativo ed ingegnerizzato. E sarà stupendo poter lavorare nuovamente con Mary Ann Seidler, è molto creativa e mette passione in questo lavoro.”

Elenos USA is pleased to announce the hiring of John Bisset as Director of Technical Services and Education. Elenos, manufacturer of FM transmitters with over 38,000 sold worldwide, will draw upon Bisset’s considerable industry experience as it expands its reach into the North American market.

Bisset has substantial experience in the transmitter industry, having held positions with manufacturers Harris, BE, and Nautel. He is well-known throughout the broadcast industry for his “Workbench” column that appears regularly in Radio World. He is an active, certified member of the Society of Broadcast Engineers, and a past recipient of the society’s Educator of the Year award.

When asked about his new company, Bisset raved about the Elenos products: “As an engineer I’ve always looked for ways to save money and space, while maximizing reliability. Well I recently had an opportunity to visit the Elenos factory, and I was just blown away. Their transmitters are designed with a total focus on cost-consciousness and energy efficiency. They’re amazingly compact, too. I’m really excited to help introduce them to the North American market.”

Bisset was equally enthused about his new colleagues: “I’m totally energized to be joining such an innovative, engineering-driven group. And it’s a thrill to be working with Mary Ann (Seidler) again – she’s so creative and passionate.”
